Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon on Bellingham Bay! Passengers will join the crew in raising the Zodiac’s four sails including her 4,000 square foot mainsail (the largest on the west coast). Once the sails are up, the Zodiac will cruise the Salish Sea and passengers have the option of continuing to lend a hand to maneuvering the 160 foot windjammer or just enjoying the ride and taking in the scenery. After lingering on the bay into the evening the Zodiac will return to its dock in Fairhaven at 5 pm.
This sail does not include a meal or bar service, but passengers are able to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the cruise. The sail is family friendly and young children are welcome aboard for the adventure!
Take Sunday brunch to the next level by enjoying it from the deck of a classic 1920’s sailing yacht! Join the crew of the Zodiac in helping to raise the ship’s sails before enjoying delicious mimosa from the ship’s bar. The Zodiac will glide throughout Bellingham bay as our ship’s cook prepares and serves up a delicious brunch buffet menu original to each cruise!
While aboard, passengers can also tour below decks which feature the ship’s navigational chart house, modern galley and spacious salon. You won’t find a more adventurous brunch experience anywhere in Bellingham!

The Schooner Zodiac is excited to continue our long tradition of welcoming local microbreweries aboard for beer tastings under sail. Each ‘Ales N’ Sails’ excursion we will host a local brewery to join us and conduct tastings of their favorite beers for our passengers. Our guests can mingle with brewery representatives and learn about the brewing process, the inspiration behind each recipe and the different styles of beer. The Zodiac’s cook will prepare a delicious and unique meal of galley fare meant to complement the beers.
There is no better way to enjoy northwest micro-brews than while catching the sunset from the deck of a classic 160-foot sailing gaff rigged schooner. These cruises are extremely popular so we recommend that you book well in advance!

Combine your tastes for adventure and delicious food on a 3-hour dinner sail on Bellingham Bay. Work up your appetite as you assist the crew in the raising of the largest mainsail on the west coast of the United States. After the sails are up, sit back and enjoy views of the beautiful coastline and enjoy an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage from the ship’s bar as you glide across the bay. Our professional chef will ring the galley bell and a northwest meal of locally caught salmon accompanied by a rotating mix of seasonal salads and side dishes will be served buffet style.
Passengers can also tour below decks which feature the ship’s navigational charthouse, modern galley and spacious salon.
The Zodiac will glide across the water and explore the storied waters of Bellingham. After eating heartily, enjoying craft libations and being transported back to the age of sail, the crew will begin to lower sails as the sun sets over Bellingham Bay. The ship returns back to the Bellingham Cruise Terminal at 9pm.
